Dog Park Exercise

I think that a dog park would be a great idea, and should be put in most places with little to no open land for dogs to roam. There are many reasons for this, such as; It would provide proper care and exercise to dogs and owners, dogs wouldn’t be a hazard to have in homes, Increase in property value, and many more reasons!

My first reason is excerscise. Dogs need excerscise in order to stay healthy. But, humans could also use this excerscise too! It would make dog owner’s lives healthier because what’s better than playing with your dog? Well, the fact that you can shed a few pounds doing so!

My next reason is that (according to the ASPCA) “Dogs that don’t get excerscise can act out by barking and destroying thing at home”. This is a major

If the noise of the dog parks were disturbing residents, moving it to the outskirts of the residential area would substantially lower the complaints.

If the noise was still a complaint, you could always lock the fences in the early hours and in the night. By adding a time availibility on the park, it would reduce the amount of noise when people are sleeping. Having a lock on the fence would also stop people from sneaking in and vandalizing the park.

There is also an arguement saying that there would be many lawsuits. But according to statistics, dog bite reports in New York went down from 40,000, to less than 4,000 when they included a dog park. So, including a dog park drastically lowers the risk of being bitten by a dog.

While building a dog park can be expensive, the positive effects that come from a dog park outweigh the cost and the negatives combined.

So in conclusion, dog parks will provide a healthy and fun way to get excerscise, safer homes and communities, and would provide more money for the city it was built in. So, I hope you realize how good a dog park would be for the

In the argument about dog parks for residents with pet dogs, I totally agree that they should be provided with a park for their animals. I agree because, i dont think a simple walk around the neighborhood is not to much exercise on a daily. Exercise is important to dogs' mental and physical health. Also another reason would be because according to (ASPCA) "dogs that dont get exercise can act out at home by barking or destroying things at home. Socializing is important too.…

Considering the ideas of C.W. Mills and his Sociological Imagination idea we can see that building a park is not just about the physical aspect but about the history, structure, and culture around it. We can tie in the history of parks, regulations, and rules to build the park and how the culture interacts with parks to create a park that promotes outdoor recreation and is accessible to all. A question that should be asked is will everyone have equal access to the park. This question is important because it ties Mill’s cultural question in that low-income families may not have access to parks that have good structures but also are safe. The second question could be how parks been set up in previous years, what is the best place to build one,…

Picture this, you see thirty people riding out in the street on their skateboards and then in a blink of an eye a car is speeding by or driving recklessly and they are dead. Well that happened to about 35,000 people in one year, not all were riding skateboards, but many of them were. This can stop if we put skateparks in our communities because kids won’t have to ride in the streets. Skateparks should be built in every community because they provide a safe environment for the skaters instead of having to use the streets. Skateparks have also been shown to reduce property damage, and increase physical activity which has lasting health benefits.…
