Dog Park Benefits

having had dog's my entire life i believe that the benifits of a dog park far outweigh the negative aspects. the arguement set forth by the person against the dog park seems to me to be blown out of preportion.

as the person against the park mentioned i do agree that traffic could become a concern. i do not believe that traffic or the park in general would become an issue at night as most people take the family dog during the day, usually during the weekend very rarely during the week if at all.

exercise beyond a daily walk is very important for certain types of dogs, some breed,s should only be exercised rarely if at all especially with older dogs.

walking an older dog for the same amount of time as a younger dog can be both unhealthy

This event did indeed have a great impact on the world, as it made the Japanese surrender; however, one must consider that this was only a piece of the entire span of World War II. What allowed the United States Naval Aviation community the opportunity to fly over the Japanese mainland was the successes of the submarine, surface, and land communities in the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Specifically, the United States Submarine Community contributed to war by…

Considering the ideas of C.W. Mills and his Sociological Imagination idea we can see that building a park is not just about the physical aspect but about the history, structure, and culture around it. We can tie in the history of parks, regulations, and rules to build the park and how the culture interacts with parks to create a park that promotes outdoor recreation and is accessible to all. A question that should be asked is will everyone have equal access to the park. This question is important because it ties Mill’s cultural question in that low-income families may not have access to parks that have good structures but also are safe. The second question could be how parks been set up in previous years, what is the best place to build one,…

In addition to spending in local towns due to visitation of national parks, they also provide a source of jobs. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park alone provided 12,759 jobs in 2014 (Cullinane Thomas, C., C. Huber, and L. Koontz). These jobs helped with keeping the park open to the ten million people that visited the park in 2014. It is important that Congress allocates more funds for the National Park Service because of the jobs that these parks provide. If Congress reduces the funding for national parks, like it has in recent years, than parks are forced to lay off employees and close the parks to the public.…
