When it comes to my pets I really do my best to care for them. However the running joke in our house is that we live in a zoo. Sometimes it really does feel that way, but I love it. To be honest if I had the space we would probably have more animals. One of the biggest chanllenges I have had is finding food that is healthy for my pets, especially for my pets. There is so much junk in dog food it's hard to know if what you are feeding them is healthy.

So at first I tried to feed my dog a natural diet homemade by me, full of liver, and chicken hearts, and of course the healthy elements they need. I did a lot of research to try and find the right mix of ingredients. However I just could not keep up with making fresh dog food, week after week. Plus it really got to be too expensive. So I started to research dog food to try and find the best one. My dog has a sensitive stomach so I have to pick and choose what I feed him. I tried to find the food that was healthy and had no fillers. To my surprise they actually have a lot more products on the market that are pretty healthy for dogs. I must say I was really disappointed in the selection that they had. All of the food I found was priced really good, but it was junk. They do not carry the healthy brands of dog food just the foods with all the junk fillers. So I would have to say that one thing you don't want to buy from Costco is the dog food. It also got me to thinking how many people actually by the dog food at Costco just because the price is really affordable? This is one of those cases where just because it's cheaper doesn't make it better. Also just because it's on sale this does not mean that it is the bet dog feed either.
