One of the most surprising days I have ever had was when I got my dog Cooper. When I first saw him his name was Pete but I changed it of course. It all started on a normal day. I woke up and my mom tells me we are going to get the new dog. I nearly burst with excitement because I have been wanting my own dog forever. I get in the car waiting to get going. When the car starts driving I stare out the window waiting. Once we finally got there I shot out of the car like a jet, and look around. I saw a dog pen with three little miniature dachshunds in it. I see the owner of the dogs come outside and my mom and dad greet them. But all of the sudden out of the owner swings the door for the pen oper. Three little dogs shoot out in every direction

Dan Cooper Mystery Title “It took a lot of thought, planning and nerve, and I think he got away with it. I think he’s a hero, and I’d hate to find out that he was dead,” Mr. Steinwachs, a welder in the Ariel, Washington area, stated of the infamous hijacker Dan Cooper, who was believed to have parachuted down from the plane he commandeered to somewhere in the local area in 1971. Many others like Mr. Steinwachs still hold on to the hope that this anti-hero survived the landing and made it off with the money, however impossible it may seem. After all, nobody has ever found his body, and many people, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), have meticulously searched for him for years. However, if one looks at the totality of the facts we know, the most likely conclusion is that Dan Cooper died that night in the woods of Washington with the $200,000 dollars he stole, newly rich and all alone.…

Even if the shelter does decide to continue to not adopt out Pit Bulls, there are other options than euthanization. According to Judi Brinegar’s article (2014), “Pit Bull Rescue Seeks Help,” “The Fort" is a nonprofit, no-kill rescue dedicated to alleviating the suffering of all animals, in particular the American Pit Bull Terrier”(Brinegar, para. 2).…

Pit bulls and their different jaws-Pit bulls do have locking jaws – pit bull owner myth exposed is an article that is saying pit-bull have and lock jaw. Which the author states that pit bulls do hold and shake that is the only that I found out that is true about the article that I have read in this article. He then proceeds on saying “Unless a crow bar or break stick is used to pry open a pit bull’s jaws, shooting the dog may be the only way to get the animal to release. Though the pit bulls jaws may not “structurally” lock, they do not release naturally either.” I know for a fact that is not true because I had three pit bulls that lived in the same house together.…

Pit bulls, just like any other dog, want a caring family and a joyous home. Some individuals may argue that pit bulls should not be allowed to be kept as pets due to a few of the vicious crimes they have committed in the past, however, the entire pit bull breed should not be punished for the act of a few of their counterparts. Pit bulls, as long as they have a positive home environment, the proper social interaction, and get plenty of exercise are no more dangerous than any other dog and should be allowed to be kept as pets. That is because to the outside world we come off as rough and scary but in reality we are warm hearted people. We are simply “The Pitbulls of America.” I use that to explain metaphor because pitbulls are portrayed as scary and mean but to those who are close with the pitbull, they know that they’re nice loving dogs.…
