Online bullies develop courage to attack a victim without experiencing the face to face reaction provided in physical or mental abuse. This allows bullying to happen more frequently and with more depth. A study by no bullying (https://nobullying.com/cyber-bullying-statistics-2014/) showed that 52% of young people have reported being cyber bullying at one point of their lives, with 25% of teens stating that they have experienced repeated bullying via cell phone or on the internet.
