Throughout this play Hamlet portrays his love for Ophelia through different ways. To start early in the story, Ophelia is preaching to her father on the love that Hamlet has shown her. While doing so she states that she feels that Hamlet has always had love for her and every time Hamlet brings up love, he does so in a way that is so respectful and sincere that no one can doubt the truthfulness behind it. Throughout the next couple of monologues, Ophelia backs up her thoughts and feelings to show her father, that Hamlets love is real and in no way wrong or for the wrong reason.
