The world seems convinced that Christopher Columbus is the founder of America, the man that dared sail the ocean and is the only reason that we as Americans exist now. While this idea is fine and dandy it is wrong. Columbus wasn't the first to discover America, he wasn't even the 2nd or 3rd etc. Due to these misconceptions there has been holidays named after this alleged hero, and people don't know the truth about Columbus and his ways. In this article, the truth of Columbus will be told.
