Does B. Y Have A Big Family

The day L.Y and B.Y got married which was about a year and 6 month ago, as a newlywed couple, both L.Y and B.Y had faced many stressor as a young couple who were still adapting to the concept of being married. As a married couple, L.Y and B.Y had to live with L.Y’s family as it was part of the culture for the son to keep living with his parents and being care taker when the parents got older. The thing was, L.Y have a big family, which consist of his parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters all living in the same house. It was difficult for both to transition into such as small house with many family members as both needed independent and privacy. L.Y and B.Y agreed that a short-term stressor will be living with a big family as they both don’t have the privacy needed as newlyweds. A long-term stressor L.Y and B.Y mentioned was the financial issue because at such young age, they got married at such a young age and didn’t think much about saving money. L.Y and B.Y both have a steady job working in a warehouse but both are unsatisfied of not being able to continue with their education. Also, B.Y is pregnant and saving up have been tough on both. …show more content…
