Does Atlantis Exist?

Decent Essays
My next evidence that Atlantis Exist is that most nations of all time, believed in the existence of a Central Paradise where Man originated and developed the first civilization ever. This story is also told in the Bible and in Hindu Holy Books such as the Rig Veda, the Puranas and many others. I believe this paradise is Atlantis because it has yet to be discovered and can be the reason why it is so advance today. Scientists today wonder how many great civilizations in the past use similar techniques in building when they were so far away from each other. In the Bible it is Sayed that all life came from the Garden of Eden where the first ever humans were created and lived in. This place can also be Atlantis which is known as a paradise created

In document 1-1 It says people from the island did not worship anything other than the heavens, planets, and stars. Roman Pane came from Rome to that island in order to convert them to Christian faith. The relationship between humans and spiritual beings seemed complicated with the harsh nature too. There are many instances where men could not endue the light at dawn and turned into stone. The relationship between men and women is conflicting because in the text it talks about men bringing women with kids to an island and leaving the women and just taking the children with them.…

Archaeologists have discovered three new pieces of evidence leading to the mystery of the Lost Roanoke Colony. They found new evidence by overviewing a map, reviewing some ceramics, and with a note written by Sir Ralph Lane. Taking a fresh look at a 425-year-old map named the “Virginea Pars” map of Virginia and North America has uncovered enticing evidence about the fate of the “Lost Colony” and how all its settlers disappeared. James Horn, vice president of research and historical interpretation of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, said, “We believe that this evidence provides conclusive proof that they moved westward up the Albemarle sound to the confluence of the Chowan river.”…

Now that it is the modern era it seems it is becoming more of an acceptable act among people who more or less live in a democratic free society. Some countries still throughout the world hold homosexuality as a serious offense and crime in their nation, and a certain few still hold that crime to be punishable by death. In the United States the acceptance of homosexuality has been becoming more common throughout the population slowly starting in the early…

All the ancient little stone artifacts could have very well just been that. Toys for the younger children to play with, even now we give our children fun little toys to keep them busy and their imaginations busy. These can’t possibly be listed as concrete evidence because there’s no evidence to back it up and prove that those paintings and those artifacts were inspired by ancient astronauts. They don’t even prove if ancient astronauts really visited Earth. That leads me to my next argument on ancient astronauts, proof of visitation by ancient astronauts.…

As Gordon H. Johnston mentions in his article “Genesis 1 and Ancient Egyptian Creation Myths”, he believes that Genesis 1 has affinities with Egyptian creation myths rather than with Babylonian creation mythos Enuma Elish since he found Genesis 1 does not mention any hint of divine conflict between God and the primeval waters, as well as Enuma Elish (Johnston 179). In my opinion, I think Johnston’s claim is feeble because he makes his conclusion since he merely identified few differences without any practical analysis. Therefore, it arises my interest to discover the real contact among Genesis 1, Babylonian creation stories, and Egyptian creation myths.…

    Gilgamesh Land

Knowing the land, what it has to give, what can be reaped from it is very important, as well as how greatly land can impact a civilization. This idea is elaborated upon in several different tales, tales in both oral and written form that have been passed down through generations and across cultures. The way the land and the environment in each of these tales reflect into the story and characters differ from where the tale originated, but they each share a common understanding. This understanding is explained best, and in a rather blunt fashion, in the tale of Gilgamesh; it is explained that those who know and understand the way the land is created are wise (Gil.,I.1-4). The tale of Gilgamesh elaborates on how wise Gilgamesh actually was.…

The world has been conditioned to believe that early European societies were the only advanced and highly populated nations for centuries. No one ever really tried or cared to look into what was happening in the New World, and when people did start to care, much of the Western Hemisphere’s culture had been erased. It has only happened within the past couple of centuries that real, fundamental research has gone into what the New World was like before Europeans set foot on it. Despite what society has been conditioned to believe for hundreds of years, Mann’s book 1491 stresses that American Indians have been around for much longer and were much more numerous than originally thought, and they had highly advanced societies that ultimately met their downfall by diseases brought by Europeans. Theories such as the Clovis-first theory and research based on skeletal and tool findings has helped to establish that the New World was inhabited much earlier than society once thought.…

There has been a plethora of opinions about who and when America was actually discovered that have been pondered over for several centuries by scholars and historians. History plays a significant role in providing a comprehensive understanding about our past, furthermore it also assists in dealing with current issues. For instance, in 2002 Elizabeth Kolbert wrote an article to substantiate the many questionings on Columbus and she states that the, “notion of discovery, was being reevaluated” (206). The history and the philosophy that has been taught on Christopher Columbus’s exploration of the sea that led to the discovery of America.
