Youths shouldn’t be banned from playing sports such as dodgeball, cheerleading, and football. To begin Dodgeball teaches physical and mental skills. Rick Hanetho founder of national ameture dodgeball assoc. said “ It teaches hand eye coordination concentration and the ability to think and draw quick conclusions”(171). This proves that it is helping them with coordination and quick thinking which will help later in life. Cheerleaders have coaches who are trained and certified. “Johnson is an experienced coach with safety training” (175). This shows that coaches can help them if they are injured and they know what to do. In football they can limit concussions. “... his organization's recommendation can cut concussions by ⅔” (179).
