When it comes to buying a new truck, you have big jobs to do, and your truck must be able to meet the challenge.
The Ford F-150 and the Dodge Ram 1500 are both up to those challenges.
Performance
Dodge equipped the Ram 1500 with a number of engine options, which includes Canada’s best-selling engine, the 3.6L Pentastar™ VVT V6 capable of 305 horses and 269 lb-ft of torque.
In addition, if power is on your wish list, you can equip the Ram 1500 with a 5.7 HEMI® V8, which just happens to be one of Canada’s best-selling V8 engines. The V8 produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. This power package can tow up to 4,826 kg and was the engine that powered the winner of the Canadian Truck King Challenge of 2017, which happened to be the Ram 1500.

When it comes to comfort, the Ford F-150 believes in filling the cabin with luxury. Depending upon the trim level, you could find yourself seated in cloth seats that are easy to maintain or surrounded by rich leather ergonomically optimised bucket seats.
The SuperCrew® and SuperCab models can seat up to six, thanks to the 40/20/40 split seats that give you a number of ways to configure your cab.
Technology
From safety features to entertainment, both trucks are fully equipped with the latest technology.
The Dodge Ram 1500 gives you an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a rear backup camera. The media hub is on the centre console and consists of USB ports and AUX jacks. Because touchscreens are hard to use while driving, Dodge gives you control buttons and knobs in addition to the touchscreen.
The Ford F-150 comes with an 8-inch touchscreen that has a swipe feature along with a pinch to zoom. The available 360-degree camera has a split view display, so you can see all around you.

What we do know is that this will be a traditional body-on-frame pickup truck just as the Wrangler itself continues with this time-honored automobile construction method. The Wrangler name was introduced in 1986 and now represents both the standard two-door Wrangler and the extended-wheelbase Wrangler…

Do you want a vehicle that is good on fuel, reliable, and has power? Diesel vehicles are good on fuel, because they are good for about 300,000 miles, and provide more power. They are more reliable because they run off of compressed air and their engine parts are built stronger than traditional gas engines parts. Everyone should own a diesel vehicle over a gasoline vehicle because diesels are more fuel efficient, have more power, torque, and more reliable. Diesel engines provide more power using less fuel compared to gasoline engines.…

Ford continues to innovate their approach to reaching out to the target customer. Ford is iconic for trucks and sports utility vehicles (SUV) in the US and the global market. However, instabilities in economies across the globe, as well as the high cost of petroleum, has caused Ford to redefine their image and follow customer trends toward more fuel efficient and lower carbon producing vehicles (Ford Motor Company, 2013). This new image is slowing coming about, but Ford is currently producing some of the most energy efficient vehicles in the U.S. (Voight, 2013).…
