Doctor Punches Patient to Death in Russia – To Face Trial
A doctor in Russia is likely to face up to 2 tears in imprisonment, after he was held for beating a patient, who subsequently died. This was revealed by the Russian investigators, who are looking into the incident.
A patient was beaten by the doctor on 29th December, at the Hospital No. 2 in the city of Belgorod, in southwest Russia, near the Ukrainian border. A criminal case was filed against the doctor, after an autopsy on the body of the patient revealed that the cause of death was a brain injury caused by sudden trauma. This was reported in a press release by the Belgorod region Russian Federation Investigative Committee.
