In summary of part two of reading many things happened. The reading starts off with the group Doctor Schultz organized surrendering and being imprisoned. A couple of days later the English agreed to the need of their being a provisional government and Louis Riel was made president. Later in the reading it was shown that Schultz had escaped out of prison with the help of his wife. When Riel heard about the disapearence of Schultz he was furious. Around February 10, 1870 in the story the convention of 40 meets was held and Riel was voted president. Sometime later it was shown Schultz had organized another group against Riel elsewhere. This introduced a new character Thomas Scott who was a madman. This group organized by Schultz gave up as well
