Do you know Tom Hanks? He has been a few famous movies, some of them based upon true stories. Cast Away is not. But how about Apollo 13-leaking 02 Cast Away- crash landed stranded on Island Terminal -living inside an airport w/no money.
Captain Phillips-Cargo ship Maersk Alabama hijacked by Somali pirates,
Sully- US Airways Jan2009 LGA-Charlotte… Somehow in all of these movies Tom Hanks is able to survive, escape, to move on in life. Amazing stories, amazing skills, an amazing story to remember. ^^We probably would not wish to travel with Tom- too dangerous.
Steadfast-Immovable, completely faithful. God has covenant loyalty-not contract-God finishes and fulfills.

Look at V3 Israel’s experience and our experience too Christians, this was a sign to Israel of a national deliverance from Satan accomplished by Jesus on the cross. Note that the peoples are gathered in from the four corners of the earth E W N S.

This national deliverance of the Israelites pointed to the ultimate deliverance that we believers look forward to not just a promised land on Gold Mt. or Brooklyn, Staten Island, but everlasting deliverance to be with God eternally. We see this in Revelation Ch. 7.

Rev. 7:9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

This is the hope that we have inside of us from Christ. 2Cor3 tells us that we are a letter from Christ, with the Spirit of the living God written in our hearts.

Since we are a letter from Christ, we have a message to share, the

Consider Isaiah 42:10 Sing to the Lord a new song. his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it. the coastlands and their inhabitants.
Is. 42 talks about us, we that are here in NYC, we are from all over the world, we are not far from the coast right now, less than 3 miles from the ocean. The challenge is -Do we sing his praises?
Do you have this testimony? Do people say this about you? -that yes when I talk to Mike I see that their life glorifies God in their thanks to God. Even during the hard times, the desert times, but what Mike does is that he cries out to God for mercy and gives God glory when deliverance comes. Do you have a testimony of how God has transformed your life into the likeness of Christ? A wonderful work, a supernatural work, a divine work!

Someone may say to me, but pastor my situation, my condition is impossible. There is nothing I can do. RIght. If the situation was not impossible you would not need to devoutly call upon God. We should learn that when we want divine, heavenly results that we need to follow

The first message I ever gave was here a couple of years ago, and it was also on Romans. And in that message, I explained what it meant when certain words are used to begin a passage. Romans 8:28 begins with the word “AND”. When a passage starts with the word “AND”, what it means is, that it’s a connection. Introduction Many of us know or understand the overwhelming emotions that take over when we get to the opposite side of a difficult situation. It can be something as small as the relief of finding a lost possession or the feeling of accomplishment in overcoming a fear. We can imagine the joy of a baby’s birth after hours of hard labor or the victory one feels after getting positive reception on a project for work or school. In these moments, in the midst of our joy, it can be easy to forget the source- our Creator who is good in all ways and who blesses us and helps us through the tough times. On a much larger scale, the passage of Exodus 15:1-21 is a record of an entire people who are experiencing the exuberance of finally being free.…

Being baptized symbolizes rebirth, a fresh start, a new life with Christ as your guide. Once you have been truly reborn; in the name of Christ and once you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior, only then do you feel the newness of life within you. Romans 5:8 says that, “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” To me this verse means that even before I gave my life to Christ he had already planned to forgive me for everything I did or will do in the future. Being reborn in the name of Christ well it might be one action in one moment it carries on forever and creates the foundation of how I hold up my relationship Christ and His Kingdom.…
