This is one of the last heart wrenching scenes in this play where Walter grows up and becomes the man that everyone on the family and himself wanted to be. “Sticking out like a butterfly in a sky full of moths explains the younger family at the end of the story. The Youngers are not afraid of what may happen to their family if they live in this neighborhood, but Walter determines that his father worked hard to grant him that right. The line about a boat in a vast ocean also explains that idea of standing out in the crowd and following what one believes to be true mentality that the Younger’s had by the end of the play.
