I agree with Anne that people are truly good at heart. Mrs. Frank stated, “we all done things we are ashamed of.” Which everybody needs to take into consideration. Haven’t you done made a mistake that you regret? You automatically want to be forgiven, so shouldn’t that be thought about for everybody. Mr. Frank quoted “she puts me to shame,” after reading her diary. He said that because Anne didn’t utter any harmful words about the people who did terrible things to her. She had to go through so much just because Adolf Hitler didn’t accept Jews. She had to put her whole life on hold and hide for two years. For half the day they couldn’t even walk or go to the bathroom. They had to be absolutely silent. Could you not go to the bathroom, not speak, and not walk for half the day? Even after that she still believed that people are good at the heart. Anne made the best out of even petrifying situations. Anne was sent to a concentration camp and still kept faith and didn’t hesitate to still be happy. In the book, Mr. Frank stated that “It seems strange to say this, that anyone could be happy in a concentration camp. But Anne was happy in the camp… After two years of being shut up in these rooms, she could be out…”
Most people who are in an egregious circumstance would be in dismay or distressed but Anne was just happy. She was happy to see flowers and breath in the fresh
