Think Different

Change. Do we embrace it, do we deny it? Through out history, we have done both! In the Civil War, the north side, or the Union, wanted change. They did not believe that their should be slaves, but the south, or the Confederacy, wanted to keep slaves for their plantations, personal needs, etc..

So, do we embrace change? The Pilgrims left their homes in search for change. they wanted a place to have a chance at a new life. To own land, to have money, happiness, and religious freedom! People do change, everyone does!

Humans change, slowly, but for sure! If we didn’t, we probably wouldn't be here! If it weren't for all these people in search for happiness, religious freedom, normal freedom, land, riches, slaves, and even Native Americans, America wouldn't be here!

Reconstruction Plan On may 9,1865, soldiers began packing up and going back home, from the bloodiest war in American history, however when some confederate soldiers came back to the south they were surprised to find that their home had been completely destroyed and in ruins. To fix the south we need to abolish slavery and any form or type of slave labor, build schools in the south that are not separated, and shutdown prejudice groups like the ‘KKK’. This is a very important matter because the south needs help on improving its economy and improving itself in general. If we want to make any sort of progression, the first precaution we have to take is abolishing slavery and any form or type of slave labor.…

Throughout history there has always been a fight for what people believed to be right. From becoming our own nation to the debate on who should lead our great nation, citizens of the United States have argued over their beliefs. For example, in Cady Stanton’s speech to the Seneca Falls Women’s Rights Convention, Stanton explains the rights women received needed to be changed. What would compel anyone in their right mind to forsake modern society and seek out a desolate, unfamiliar land? The Pilgrims were Puritans known as “Separatists.”…

It is important that the message be sent loud and clear to all employees within the organization that the change must be attacked with an extreme sense of urgency. It is also important for the top level of the organization to have a realistic plan in implementing change. Many times top level management overestimates how many big changes they can force early on. They also underestimate how hard it is to drive people out of their comfort zones (Kotter, 1996). In order to achieve this management must create a powerful…
