On top of all of this research these video games are helping people get more creative in thinking and also in some cases help with depression because people who are depressed in the brain two parts do not activate which are the rewards pathway system, which is associated with motivation and goal orientation, and the hippocampus, which is associated with learning and memory these parts of the brain are needed for learning and being able to be motivated to do stuff with their lives so if kids could play video games they could learn better and then our youth would be motivated, smarter and able to create these wonderful things that people have never thought of if people were in a accident and the brain was affected videogames are there to help reactivate the brain and help the person get back on their feet a researcher was in an accident her brain was injured she created a game to help heal herself her game helped her with her brain she also made it a full game that others could play and would help them with anxiety.depression, brain injuries and even chronic illnesses a university of california made a statement that video games help people with their memory so if you ever forgot about something like where are the keys video games could help you remember better but you have to pick wisely with these games because some of the games do not help with memory but on other hands some do help but if you think that the games on my phone could help then you're wrong yes your time
