The movie “Do the right thing”, directed by Spike Lee in 1989 is devoted to the topic of racism and violent actions which are caused by this phenomenon. Although the director puts a lot of stress on the cross cultural relations in the city of New York, the plot also gives us an impression about gender relations and family issues and other spheres of human life.
