Do Schools Need To Monitor Social Media Accounts?

"Schools do have a role in social media is to help with bullying cases, but they do not need to monitor students social media accounts. One reason is that students may have private things on their social media accounts, and would not want teachers and principals looking at information on their Instagram or Snapchat accounts. Also, If a kid is getting bullied repeatedly then they should be responsible enough to go to a teacher and explain what their problem is and that they need help. The students also can screenshot the things that the person who is bullying them is sending. Therefore there is virtually no reason for schools to monitor social media accounts because unless you are afraid to admit that you are getting bullied, then you should stick up for yourself and tell the principal or guidance counselor.
The US Government does have a role in social media but President Trump’s tweets are something that needs to be lightly mointored. He should because there are 47 million people that follow him on social media, and they are from many different nationalities and perspectives. Also, he does not remember all 36.8 thousand tweets that he has posted and they may be offensive to different people. He is the president of the United States
