Do People Know What Is Right Or Wrong

“Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it,” (William Penn). William Penn is right, right is right and wrong is wrong no matter what anybody says. However, the real problem is what is right and what is wrong? And how do people know? Some people think they know what is right and what is wrong, but are they right? If they are right, who says they are right? How do people determine what is right and what is wrong? Some say we do not, some say it is just natural that you know what is right and wrong based on how it feels. The world has a twisted view of what is right and wrong. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter,” (Isaiah 5:20). This verse is right. What was right is now wrong and what was wrong is now right. So who determines what is right and what is wrong? The simplest answer: God. God is true beauty and true goodness; humans can only understand what true beauty and true goodness is like through the beatific vision. That is gazing fully on the face of God. Only then would humans be able to attain true beauty and true happiness that lasts for eternity. Becoming holy is possible, but it takes work. Someone can become holy only by becoming like God as far as possible. That is what holiness looks like, becoming like God as far as possible. The saying that I have my truth and you have your truth has been a slogan for some people. That makes no sense if you think about it. If everybody had their own truth then what would be truth? It is like in the Incredibles when they said, “If everyone was super, then no one would be.” There has to be a thing as absolute truth that is true for all people, at all times, and at all
