Do people have increased risks for different problems? Yes it can lead to other complications like can lead to blindness. They need to live a healthy lifestyle like exercising eat healthy and stick to a certain plan. There are a lot of different complication that could happen like kidney failure or lower limb amputations. It can cause more infections because their bodies is less immune.

Can they get nerve damage from diabetes? Yes they can and it can effect lots of parts of their bodies it can hurt their digestion and cause them not able to eat certain foods. Other things it can do is make them lose feeling in their feet and sometimes they won't be able to feel any injury that may occur and they won't know what happened. Diabetes is one of the main things that can effect their eyes. If they continently have high blood pressure and high cholesterol that increases their chances of getting eye problems. People need to go regularly to an eye physician to check and see if they have any problems with their eyes, or if you experience any problems can't see as good call their physician just to make sure.
