In the article “Do Nurses Eat their Yong?” under scenario on page 44, Penny Sauer maintained that Carried felt tired and drained when she arrived for the night shifts. The reason she felt drained signified the lack of teamwork among her nurses in her department of work. One of the main purposes of teamwork in any organization or job site is for members to come together to accomplished tasks that one person cannot be able to complete. This can be done through communication, direction, or physical demonstration of a work. In this way, the workload would be lessened off one person’s shoulder.
