Building shared leadership is a time-intensive process, but vital in the success of an institution. By encouraging the expansion of the leadership role, one has the opportunity to restructure their facility with many perspectives included, not solely one. Reframing offers a chance to get beyond constricted, oversimplified views.(Bolman, 2008, p. 355). As a vision for the future, administrators should organize a group of peers who have a variety of skills that can be used to meet the school’s objectives and establish a positive environment for learning.
