Do Grades Matter Research

A constant question to go through a student’s mind is do grades really matter? The often happens when times get tough and grades are the main reason why students get stressed. Most parents think that grades are the key towards an accomplished future overall. Do grades really determine our future? Should we stress them more? Is this a proficient system? First off everyone knows that good grades are key to a successful future. In high school, the SAT is a big test that can determine whether you get into an exceptional college. If a student doesn’t study, it’s a clear way to tell. It’s a method that shows the exceptionally gifted and the average. Also, it’s a method that gives teachers the information they need to better a student’s own personal education. If they get the help they need, it could help them catch up in class and maybe even rise to the top. A student’s academic intelligence really depends on how they do in school. Grades are a great way to show how smart a kid is. Intelligence is quite easy to measure when put to the test. At the moment there isn’t a test generated to test the full intelligence of one individual. Many people think that grades measure intelligence or that the IQ test does, but some people think otherwise. Intelligence comes in all different forms and can be on any subject.
