Finally, violent video games are not harmful because most of the people who commit murders and acts of violence have some sort of mental illness. According to the article “Do games like ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ cause real World Violence?” Kain writes about a mass shooting in Washington, D.C. he claims “A mass shooting in Washington, D.C. in which an angry, mentally-ill young man shot and killed a dozen of his fellow citizens”. The article mentions nothing about the young man playing violent video games, but rather the fact that he is mentally-ill, circulating the sentence around that fact.
