Do Dogs Affect People's Mood

Have you noticed how your mood shifts when you're around a furry friend like a dog? Well, scientists have, and studies have shown that dogs do affect your mood. They help physically and emotionally to boost you through your day that might be stressful. Dogs affect people's mood by influencing people positively.

Scientists conducted an experiment that tested to see if they can sense human emotions. The results were “that dogs can mentally recognize positive and negative emotional states of others (“Science and Children” 7).” So if you're feeling down around your dog they can sense and try to bring your mood up.

In the past, it has been researched if dogs can help people of all ages relieve stress. The results have come out positively.
