DMS has served as an welcoming sanctuary to me as a student. Since my freshman year, I had been exposed and moved by the many influences DMS has been working toward the various minority groups here at the Texas A&M campus. Throughout my college career, being a part of the DMS has allowed me to come out of my comfort zone to meeting new people, and inspired me to take action on raising awareness about cultural identity and acceptance.
