On the first day he found out that the procedures and policies are not well documented. After the first few weeks at ConnectCo, he discovered that the numbers are not adding up when he looked at the Symbol contract. In the case of Fuzzy Math, I believe that some of the people in the management at ConnectCo had moral sensitivity, but not all of them. When Davis took the problem he had to talk with the controller of the company, she advised him to let it play out. She definitely knew something unethical was going on, but she didn’t want to interfere in the situation. The relationship manager at ConnectCo, Chad Macdonald didn’t know any information on the Symbols contract terms. He did not have as moral sensitivity as he should have because he was always left out of the loop between the conversations of Charlie Gallagher who is the Vice President and the Steve Puhl who is the Vice President of Direct Sales at Symbol. I absolutely believe that Charlie had moral sensitivity, but he did not want to take any actions because he knew what he was doing and he didn’t want to get caught. Charlie understood how to negotiate shady contract details and because no one really knew about the any of the details with Symbol or any other companies, he could do whatever he

The company’s CEO, Brian Cornell, voiced to the media how tough this decision was to make but how necessary it was for the company, in order to successfully continue their operations within the United States. The main reason Target had to shut down within Canada was because they were incapable of earning any sort of profit until the year 2021 (Scott, 2015). Target had also lost approximately one billion dollars during their first year in business within Canada (Evans, 2015). The most devastating part about this closure was the fact that 17,600 employees, both full and part-time, were going to lose their jobs.…

Fund embezzlement, employee assault, intended false advertising, fraud, are just a few in many unethical practices in the market place since a long time ago. This raises a question: Does business ethics really exists? However, business ethics is different, because it is more twisted in the market place. It is usually not taken very seriously and even sometimes changed to fit certain situations, such as it is not “right” for the employee to go around and talk about how his or her CEOs or coworkers are cheating with accounts.…
