“GoodBye Earl” by the Dixie Chick’s is a song that was produced by Blake Chancey. The song explains a violence situation that between a husband and wife. The main characters are Earl the husband, Wanda the wife, and Mary Anne Wanda’s best friend. In the beginning of the song, it explains that Mary Anne and Wanda were best friends, all through their high school days. But, one day Mary Anne decided she would like to start a new better world for herself, so she moves to Atlanta. Wanda was left behind, so she decided to find love and she had looked everywhere and soon found Earl. Wanda and Earl soon got married, but it was not what Wanda expected. Earl was very abusive and it would cause Wanda to cover bruises or check in to an intensive care
