When I was seven months old, my nine year old sister died in a bus crash. My family was completely and totally devastated. It caused many problems within my family which led to my parents getting a divorce when I was two years old. I knew both of my parents loved me very much, but since I was so young, I did not truly understand why they did not love each other anymore. My stepdad was my knight in shining armour, and he changed my viewpoint on the world for the better. I knew my dad loved me, but John showed me a Godly love. His love taught me how to see everyone the way that God sees him/her. I now see the world as a broken place that can do nothing for me, but I know that I can do something to improve the world and the people in it. By having that viewpoint, I decided that I wanted to do missionary work to improve the lives of less fortunate children.
The passing of my sister and the divorce of my parents were both painful tragedies in my life; however, the challenges that I endured have made me the person I am today. So many positive aspects came from such a broken situation in my life. Although so much has happened to me, I try my best to show as much love as possible to every person that crosses my path. When I was fifteen years old my dad took me on my first overseas mission trip to Nicaragua. We went to build houses and provide food for people living in the slums. More than that, we went to show these people God's deep love for them. When we got there, it quickly became clear that my job was going to be hanging out with the kids in the neighborhood. I had tried to help with the building project but had developed a constant swarm of children around me that kept bumping into the not quite stable walls.…

After the fight that Jeannette’s mom and dad had. The mom got up with the kids and applied for a job at the Battle Mountain Intermediate School and was hired on the spot because she had a teaching degree. Her mother hated teaching because her own mother was a teacher and pushed her into getting a degree in that so she would have a job to fall back on if her plans on being an artist failed. She was so angry that her mother might’ve been right all along. The only thing that really unsettled me was when she was trying to Miss Beatty that she was capable of disciplining her students.…

My mother passed when I was five years old she not only left me behind but also left my older brother Brian who was seven at the time and my younger sister Kimberly who was only a six-month-old baby. This had a great impact in my life because my father was left to raise us on his own until he remarried and had help from his wife before he remarried it was very difficult going back and forth from my father's care to my mothers family care when he went to work since there were many other children around but I always ended up isolated since the only people I would ever talk to were my mother and father. My brother would get bullied in school and taunted by other children for not having a mother and "being a girl” for crying about it at school he once was hanged on the school fence by older students for this reason. I was always afraid of this situation happening to me so I would suppress the fact of my mother's death due to my fear and never really dealt with it until I grew older although I still haven’t overcome her dead because she was the women who created me and a great part of my life I no longer carry hurt or hate in my heart but instead pray for her soul and thank her for watching over me all these years.…
