In this article, Schilling view the child’s perspective of parents that are divorced. Instead of just focusing on how divorce affects the parents, she mainly focuses on how it affects the child. In her article she presents a research of children that have been affected by divorce. She lists out the reasons why parents should not get a divorce. Her main reason was because divorce can have a long lasting depressing effect on the child. This source will help with my research because it will help me argue how a child can suffer from long lasting effects.
