Divorce is defined as a judicial declaration dissolving a marriage in whole or in part, especially one that releases the marriage partners from all matrimonial obligations. According to Divorce Statistics, the divorce rate in America increases depending on the first, second or third time the marriage was established. The first marriage has a “45-50% divorce rate”, a second marriage has a “60-67% divorce rate”, and a third marriage has a “70-73% divorce rate”. Divorce has become more common and the rate of divorce increases every year. Common reasons for divorce are lack of communication, money issues, and adultery. Communication can become a prior problem if the two spouses choose to bury the issues rather than address them. Without adequate communication, marriage will not run smoothly. Divorce is caused by lack of communication, money issues, and adultery which can be solved by better money management, better communication, and counseling.
Being adulterous to your spouse causes pain and suffering to parties which is one of the leading causes of the increase of divorce rates. Divorce brings long term affects on families, children, and friends other than the couple themselves. Close ones start to experience a feeling that pushes them away from the one they love. Divorce is an issue that needs to be solved so families can remain united.
