The simple, humble recipes made in their uncle's Mexican restaurant in Houston encouraged brothers, Albert and Mario Sorto, to open their own restaurant, MasFajitas 20 years ago in Caldwell. Now, their 5th Texas restaurant celebrated its grand opening in Killeen on March 13, located at 1908 E. Central Texas Expressway, the spot previously occupied by the Red Onion Indian Bistro. “We saw an opportunity for growth due to the city's population and felt that our Mexican cuisine would fit Killeen well, since there is not an abundance of restaurants offering what we offer,” said Joe Fuentes, general manager. More than 40 food items, plus appetizers, soups and salads and desserts, comprise the menu with traditional Mexican favorites, like enchiladas, burritos and tacos. But MasFajitas offers its own specialty foods, such as stuffed fried avocado with grilled fajita chicken, Veracruz catfish and shrimp, and steak ranchero and Pupusas, a pork and cheese stuffed tortilla.…

Alas, the last installment of Cold Mark has arrived, I must say, I've hoped to find answers to all of my questions, sadly I was not nearly as satisfying with this one. While I was happy Braita was able to leaver her "Souls", but I didn’t particularity like how the hybrid Plumas could easily use their hybrid abilities to manipulates memories. The whole concept just seem too convenient, and too easy to me. Not to mention, I am not sure what happened to "Braita" in this book, she was bratty, spoiled and self-centered, I am sad to say, I didn't like her at all in Soar. I really wished the information and the background of the series was better organized, I thought the hybrid bit just came out of nowhere, and then there was that "mate" connection where Braita's body hair colors have changed to matched the Plumas of the east.…

Every time I walk into Texas Roadhouse my eyes wonder over to where the rolls and their special cinnamon butter waiting to be consumed by the customer. I hear country music playing in the background, and feel peanuts crumbling under my feet like leaves on a beautiful autumn day. Without looking at the menu, my mind is already preparing my stomach for the flavorful food that I am about to encounter. Texas Roadhouse gives the Newark population somewhere local to get a great steak while getting a significate value. From personal experience most of the other steakhouses will get very pricey for a family of five making it difficult to dine at their restaurant while living on a tight budget.…
