Diversity: Living In A Single Parent Home

Diversity is a broad term in regards to that I believe everyone is different and offers a unique perspective. This ideology is brought forward through my major past experiences, such as living in a two parent home for twelve years and more recently living in a single parent home for the last five years.
During the first twelve years of my life, my family went on bonding journeys through out the nation visiting every state except Maine or Alaska. My parents ability to offer this reality of seeing our nation in its entirety showed me that we are only a minuscule part in this enormous country of ours as well as introduced new cultures and ideologies to myself.
