First of all, Since the beginning of TV, it was just a normal thing seeing white people airing on TV, now a single thing hasn’t changed. Which show that producer have no care for diversity. It was based mainly on racist stereotypes used by the white community. African Americans still continue to deal with inequality and discrimination behind the scenes. As stated from the article “American television is too white, lacks representation” by Elena Lara the text states, “Popular entertainment shows have tried dissuading this conflict by creating one ethnic role with hardly any lines or by playing on ridiculous stereotypes. That being stated, minorities are still widely underrepresented and misrepresented,” (Lara). This source is stating that modern television is lacking diversity and opinions. From Tv to racism it has no differences. It also would bring attention to a different audience. In addition, we should stop racism on and off the screen. If producers were to notice how this is a big problem, and we should do something about it, many people would start enjoying Tv than worrying about
