The interview on interview stream was a little complicated. The technology was slightly convoluted and the questions were somewhat difficult. I think the difficulty of the questions was a good challenge, it is helpful to know what certain questions employers may ask me when I enter the job market. It took some time to get accustomed with the lay out of the site and the user interface. I did have some technological difficulties with the website taking the wrong answer of two of my questions. The two questions that were mistakes were “What is the biggest challenge you are facing? What will you do to solve and manage these challenges? And “What feature of your favorite social media outlet do you think more people should know about? How would you teach a colleague about it? Both of those questions I thought were great, I just had difficulty approaching them. Also, it was a little awkward answering the questions to no one. …show more content…
I noticed I was often slouchy and I looked up and away often. Another thing I noticed was that my answers were very short. I could have elaborated on my answers more. I also said a lot of “um’s and uh’s”. I do think I spoke clearly enough. However, I do think my nerves showed and that did hinder my performance. I think I was expressive enough, on the other hand, since I was trying to speak clearly some of my movements seemed distracting. I think this interview process was a good experience and it showed me a lot of what I could work on in a professional job

Despite the fact that the interviewer was obviously very nervous, the interview overall went very well. However, there are several things that the interviewer could also improve on for her next interview. She effectively explained the setup of the room and explained the recording process. She also assured the patient that everything that took place in the room would remain confidential. As stated in Arnold and Boggs, it is “the nurse’s legal responsibility to guard against invasion of the client’s privacy” (pg. 37).…

Over the past couple of decades, diversity in the workplace has been an increasing norm, which is visible in many companies. For my human sexuality class, I was to conduct a sexual interview with an individual focusing on sexuality. We were to ask questions focusing on the individual’s attitudes and feelings towards sexuality and any misconceptions they may have held about sexuality. This activity also allowed the interviewer to become aware of their own feelings and attitudes about sexuality during the interview. I intentionally wanted to conduct this interview with a male, because asking questions around sexuality with males is an issue I am still learning to become comfortable with. Working as a family based therapist I have to ask questions surrounded around sexual activity, sexual trauma, and being to provide parents and adolescent with resources about sexual education.…

A couple things I would change are how I plan out developing the speech and how much to practice it. For developing the speech, I need to be sure of what exactly I want to talk about at the interview. I felt that my questions were interesting, but a couple were somewhat unneeded. However, I came to the conclusion that it is better to have too much than not enough for an interview because I had enough information to work with. Also, I should have taken more time to thoroughly practice my speech out loud in front of others.…
