I don’t think it would be a good idea to aggravate the general population that in a way has much more power than the government it self. I agree with you that diversity is a must in law enforcement. If we are unwilling to diversify, we are handicapping ourselves as law enforcement. I appreciate the fact that you bring up community policing projects and being able to identify with the community and neighborhoods in which we serve.
