Diversity In The Legal Profession

Diversity in the legal profession is important because the clients are diverse, and diversity creates the awareness and empathy necessary to serve the array of client issues and backgrounds that exist. My experiences have led me to develop a high level of empathy towards those struggling with personal issues. My father has suffered from multiple sclerosis my entire life, which created some difficult times in my family. The worst came during my junior year of high school when my father’s physical abilities declined to a point he was no longer able to live at home and was admitted to a nursing home. I always struggled expressing what was happening, and most people I knew never found out.
Overtime, I have come to realize that everyone has issues
