Along with the large population in the New York City comes the diversity. Even though the high school that I attend is not the most racially diverse school, with over 70% being Asian, I still see culture diversity in the school. I find having diversity in a school to be very exciting because I have learned about other cultures and various stances on a issue in numerous instances. Being in a diverse and a large school certainly is a scary thought, but the diversity has taught be to be accepting and open-minded. As I am being exposed to the various opinions, I hear about what others value in colleges, and I discover the pros and cons that I have never considered before.
