However, a significant event is held in the month of September called the LA Korean Festival. This event takes place in Seoul International Park. The goal of the festival is to provide a place where different people can come together to learn about the Korean and other cultures that can be found in LA. American born Koreans are also given the opportunity to learn the history and find out what being Korean is all about. The festival indulges in wide varieties of delicious cross-cultural treats. Food comes in different varieties, so that the festival goers can have many choices; they can enjoy them during the festival or bring them home to prepared and enjoyed in the comfort of their own home.
