When you hear the name Australia, what do you think of? Do you think of animals like kangaroos and koalas? Do you possibly think of famous landmarks like the Sydney Opera House or famous people like Steve Irwin and the band AC/DC? The country of Australia is not just big cities, Sydney and Melbourne. In his book In a Sunburned Country, Bill Bryson shows the many forms of diversity in both the people who live there and the fauna of the country, which he explains using his humor. There are also diversity in the different regions and the way the regions view each other and themselves, usually based on memory. Also, limits on generalizing a country because of diversity, not all parts of the country live the same way.
