This says to me as a young American that older generations who are much more experienced that I can talk for hours about how different races, primarily blacks are, stereotypically; uneducated, poor, and trashy. People can and will say those things all day, but never once will bring up that those blacks are being raised by single mothers because their fathers have been carted off to jail for a crime they did not commit. Or about how Hispanics are “taking all our jobs” and “are living here for free and reaping benefits”, people will say those things all day but fail to mention that someone has to do those jobs that most people believe are below them. There has to be someone on the school custodial staff, there has to be someone to build the bridges and freeways and parking garages, and for that matter if that was what those people are doing, they are probably getting paid very little because of their race, so yes they are getting benefits because they have to provide for their families somehow and working is not cutting it. These instances become a problem when trying to speak out for these people because by societal standards and definitions you are being a racist by saying those things, you can not have a conversation or speak out for a particular group and talk about the problems because then at that point you become
