Divergent: Where did the characters go?
Neil Burger did a horrible job of expressing the book Divergent, and the characters. Victoria Roth showed Tris as a strong, and bold character. In the movie Tris was whiney, and gave up easier than she did in the book. Fear didn’t seem to excite her as it did in the book. Four was also different in a sense that he wasn’t as scared of his father as he was in the book. Peter wasn’t as cruel either, and it doesn’t give you the same reaction as it does in the book when you read Insurgent after Divergent. In fact they didn’t have Uriah in the movie because they couldn’t find anyone they liked to play him.
The relationship Tris and Four had in the book is way different in the movie. It is not as close or loving
