Divergent Vs Tris

Divergent is a novel that I chose to make a literary reference to Romeo and Juliet. I chose this book because Tris and Tobias are teens that have a star crossed lover relationship. They are head over heels for each other, just like Romeo and Juliet are. I think these two books are also similar but not quite the same is that in the Divergent novel, Tris dies in the end but not because of suicide. She didn’t think her brother Caleb deserved to die, so she died for the one she loved. Tobias mourns for her, but he does not die like Romeo did in the end. What makes these two books similar is that their themes are both along the same ideas. They are both about the choices you make and how that will affect you because of the consequences. Juliet and

There are many similarities between “Legend of The Sugar Girl” by Joseph Boyden and an excerpt from “The Education of Augie Merasty” edited and formalized by David Carpenter. They both talk about the many hardships that the students of residential have gone through. “Legend of The Sugar Girl” talks about addiction and the effects that the residential school put on the children after they graduated from the schools, while the excerpt talks about what has happened in the school and the way the nuns and teachers treated the kids. Both do have some similarities in what they try to convey. They both talk about the sexual abuse that went on in the school, how even though it was bad there was still things to look forward to like treats, and the punishments…

Many people think that math is a hard subject and that it is complicated, especially trigonometry but to be honest trigonometry is my best subject. I enjoy doing trigonometry more than I enjoy doing ENC 1101. Trigonometry is easier to understand. I think trigonometry is better than ENC 1101 because we use math in our everyday life and I have a teacher physically in front of me. Personally, I think that trigonometry is superior to ENC 1101.…

In The Scarlet Letter, Hester Prynne is actually the wife of Chillingsworth. Divergent—Book vs. Movie In the first of the Divergent series, there are several differences between the movie and the book. These differences prove to make the book more enjoyable to readers. It is a typical thing in literature for a book to be more enjoyable to the reader than the movie will be as the reader has the freedom to decide what his own scenes look like. The book is superior to the movie in that the representations of violence are less in most ways than in the book.…

Heartbreaking, romantic, and riveting The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and its’ reality counterpart, The Price of Young Love by Jack Healy both tell a story of what love can do when Cupid’s arrow has struck one’s heart. There are quite a number of similarities between the script and the article, such as the way love can sometimes result in disastrous consequences, like the case of Romeo and Juliet. Another main similarity that both of them share is the idea that feuding families can cause chaos to ensue and cause many troubles. As aforementioned, a comparison between both articles would be how two feuding families/groups can always cause chaos to ensue between them. In Romeo and Juliet, the feud between the Montagues…

In Shakespear’s and Franco Zeffirelli’s Romeo and Juliet, there are many similarities, but there are also many different substantial differences that can change the impression the viewer may get if they only watch the movie without reading the play. To begin, there are many similarities between Zeffirelli 's and Shakespeare 's Romeo and Juliet. One similarity is that Romeo is very moody; in the beginning of the movie, Romeo can be seen frequently slumped over and talking in a very downcast manner. Similarly, in the play, Romeo is found by Benvolio laying moping around saying, “Should without eyes see pathways to his will!” (I.i.162).…
