In the novel, “Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury,” the main protagonist named Guy Montag progresses throughout the story after meeting Clarisse McClellan. At the start of the novel, Guy Montag works as a third-generation fireman who enjoys burning books for a living. One night after work, he meets Clarisse McClellan, an odd 17 year-old girl who enjoys nature and isn’t interested into violence, tv, or vacant socializing.
