District evaluation policy: is a reflection of the school district’s goals, values. And priorities. These goals, values, and priorities are reflected in the policies the school district adopts to govern and direct the evaluation system.
Determining the Goals and Purposes of the Evaluation System: influences the selection and design of the evaluation measures and interprets any actions taken based on the result of the evaluation. If an evaluation system lacks clear articulated goals and purposes it is considered meaningless and essentially contributes little to the accomplishments of the district’s goal.

To rate the effectives of professional development teachers are asked to complete an evaluation form that is usually administered by a presenter to determine if teachers have found the professional development seminar meaningful, relatable , and can be utilize in their practice. This form of evaluation is done at the end of the seminar. To rate teachers’ performance administrators use evaluations to determine a teachers’ performance and effectiveness in the classroom. Teacher evaluation systems relied heavily on classroom observations conducted by principals or other school administrators, sometimes with the help of rubrics or checklists. Samples of students’ work, teachers’ records and lesson plans, and other relevant factors were also often taken into account. To rate administrative performance in our district the teachers are requested to use a computerized evaluation form that rates leadership style, effectiveness, school climate , professionalism , community relationship, management skills and any other relevant factors associated with leadership. Administrators and teachers also have to conduct personal evaluations to honestly and objectively consider and document their own
