In Jane Cogie’s paper, “Avoiding the Proofreading Trap: The Value of the Error Correction Process.” Cogie advocates for writing center tutors to resist becoming “cultural informants”. My initial response to this assignment was to simply type "YA Lit" into Google, go to the 20th page, and choose a few websites to use. However, upon doing that, I discovered that not only does Google stop being effective after that many pages in the sense that it lists clickbait articles, but also that a more specific term is needed to actually get a list of quality websites that focus on the topic of Young Adult Literature.
