Cellphones are a very bad distraction to young adults, teenagers, and even elderly and adults. Most car accidents that have happened are because of cell phones. Talking and texting on the phone does affect your reaction time. Distracted driving is any activity that takes your attention away from the road. Many local law enforcement agencies don’t routinely document distractions in crash reports. They believe they are way higher. The centers for disease control and prevention describes three main types of distractions while driving. While driving distractions come in many forms, texting while driving is especially dangerous.
