In today's world, we have an ever-growing amount of vehicles on the road, which has only been increasing over the last 10 years. The influx of new drivers leads to congestion, pollution, and even danger. Every single one of these cars relies on a human to operate, which all make mistakes, have distractions and work on a busy schedule. Human operation has always been the best available method for us but has huge downsides when it relates to crashes that lead to deaths, Congestion of traffic and distracted drivers. Auto companies have worked to make these cars safer by developing seatbelts, airbags, and even now sensors that can detect cars around you. Technology has evolved from devices embedded in the highway to the Mercedes-Benz vision guided van in the 70’s to the 90’s where autonomous driving became a reality.
